I'm in for the "INs"! I can make some adjustments, but not clear on the "fertilizer out/right plant, right place IN". Hardley ever fertilize, but am concerned about soil health and add store bought compost to my garden sometimes and when I plant something new. Would you please clear this up for me? Thank you!
If you have a newly constructed house with poor quality soil, then you may need to amend it. If it’s the soil that’s been there forever, the native plants are adapted to it. Here in Florida, our soil is almost pure sand and I’m shocked at how much grows!
