I love that you’ve included a photo of a hummer feeding on a fuschia plant. When we arrived at our current site in Oregon, I was awed to discover an enormous fuschia BUSH (I had only known them as hanging pot plants in New England) in our yard. The bush was guarded by a single female hummingbird who would (and still will) chase away any other hummingbird attempting to sneak a sip. We put two hummingbird feeders on opposite sides of the motorhome so that we can watch them no matter where we sit. The other day, it rained for the first time in a couple of months, and there was a sudden war for ownership of the feeders. It was so fascinating and amusing to watch!
